ASHER’S NURSERY: BABY BOY NEUTRAL NURSERY REVEAL

February 11, 2020 in Favorites, Lifestyle - No Comments

Happy Monday, everyone! I am so excited to share today’s blog post: my baby boy nursery reveal! I worked with buybuy BABY to get Asher’s nursery essentials. We bought all of Easton’s furniture from there a little over 2 years ago. We were so impressed with them that we wanted to buy Asher’s big items from there as well!

I personally LOVE buybuy BABY. I could spend all day in there browsing and shopping. There is always a new baby or toddler item to check out. They have great price points, and always have deals and coupons available. They are a one-stop-shop that I totally recommend for all families that are expecting, and/or parents of babies and little ones!

The two nursery essentials we purchased from buybuy BABY are Asher’s crib and dresser. I am so in love with them. Easton has white furniture, so I wanted to do something different for Asher’s room which is why I chose grey. I have to be honest, and say that I was a little nervous about choosing grey furniture. His nursery is small, and I was worried that it would make the room look too dark. But I was wrong! I love love love the grey furniture we chose. It looks so good! I made sure to use a lot of whites as well to ensure it would be as light and bright as I wanted it to be. I am so happy with the outcome.

We ended up buying the Child Craft Forever Eclectic SOHO 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Grey. I love the modern feel and clean lines. It also transitions into a toddler bed, a day bed, AND a full-size bed. The versatility, and the fact that it can grow with Asher, really helped us to choose this particular crib. I can’t wait to see him in it.

The dresser we chose matches the crib, the Child Craft Forever Eclectic SOHO 3- Drawer Dresser in Grey. It has 3 large drawers that open and close so smoothly (which is always important to me). It’s the perfect size for the room, not too large and not too small. I have been able to fit so much into it, with room to spare. We used 20% coupons on both of these items, which saved a ton of money!

As always, buybuy Baby made shopping for these nursery essentials a total breeze. The sales associates were super helpful, and the furniture arrived within a week or two of ordering. You should definitely check out all they have to offer whether you are an expecting parent or already have a little one!

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my nursery. You can check out the links to the other adorable pieces of décor below. There are so many personal touches in here that I just adore. I can’t wait to welcome our sweet baby boy home into it!XOXO, Krista (and Easton) This post is in paid partnership with buybuy BABY.

Hey! I’m Krista!

Hey! I’m Krista!

I live in Chesterfield, VA with my husband Drew, and our two boys, Easton and Asher. Easton was born with Down syndrome. Easton's prenatal diagnosis was one that I struggled with greatly at first. Once he was born, I realized that everything doctors told me about all the things he wouldn't be able to do weren't true, and I became empowered. I felt the call and need to share our story with others in hopes that other women walking in our shoes could see that life with Down syndrome is not scary. It is filled with wonder, excitement, and joy. Follow along as I share all about motherhood, Down syndrome, our home, and lifestyle.

xoxo, Krista
